日本での銀行口座の取得方法(Open Japanese bank account)

背景 (Background)

• 日本に在住して6ヶ月未満の外国籍の方向けに銀行口座を開設する (Open a bank account for foreign nationals who have lived in Japan for less than six months.)
• 日本には外国籍の人から恐れられている手続きがある (There are procedures in Japan that are feared by foreign nationals.)
  1. 住民票 (certificate of residence)
  2. 携帯電話契約 (mobile phone)
  3. 銀行口座 (bank account)
• 特に、銀行口座の取得には携帯電話が必要だったり、携帯電話の取得に銀行口座が必要だったりして、循環参照が発生しており取得は困難を極める (Acquisition is particularly difficult due to circular references, with mobile phones being required to obtain a bank account, or bank accounts being required to obtain a mobile phone.)

無事に取得できたため知見を残します (We leave the findings as we have successfully obtained them.)

順番 (Order)

• 一部携帯電話は取得に銀行口座が必要ないのでこちらを先に取得する (Some mobile phones do not require a bank account. Therefore, acquire mobile phone first.)
• Ahamo, Linemoは自国のクレジットカードをが利用可能 (Ahamo, Linemo accpets credit cards from home countries)
• 楽天モバイルはは審査で落ちる傾向があるとのこと (Rakuten Mobile has a strict screening process.)

今回はAhamo契約を行った (We got Ahamo.)

携帯電話契約に必要になるもの (Requirements for mobile phone contract)

• Ahamo の契約にはDアカウントが必要で、Dアカウントの作成にはSMS認証または、本人確認が必要。SMS認証しましたが、ひょっとすると在留カードで本院確認できる可能性があります(Ahamo requires a D-account to sign up, and SMS verification or identification is required to create a D-account.)
• Ahamo のアプリのDLには日本のApple ID が必要です。 既存のApple IDの国を変更すると、サブスクリプションが解約されるので、新規にアカウントを取り直すことをおすすめします。(A Japanese Apple ID is required to DL Ahamo apps. If you change the country of your existing Apple ID, your subscription will be cancelled, so we recommend that you re-establish a new account.)
• eSIMでトライしましたが、物理SIMでないとうまく行きませんでした (I tried with eSIM, but it didn’t work without a physical SIM)

銀行口座取得に必要になるもの (Requirements to open bank account)

銀行によって必要となるものが異なります。 必ず開設したい銀行のHPで必要となるものを確認してください。 The items required differ from bank to bank. Be sure to check the website of the bank you wish to open a bank account with to see what is required.

就業証明書 の注意事項 (Notes on Certificate of Employment)

• 就業証明書として認められないもの (Items not acceptable as a certificate of employment)
  • 内定書 (Letter of Offer)
  • 就業日時が未来の日時となっているもの (Those with a future date and time of employment)

備考 (Memo)

• 会社と取引のある銀行であると申請がもう少しスムーズになるかも (If the bank has business with the company, the application process may be a little smoother.)
• 在日期間が6ヶ月を経過していることが取得条件の銀行が多い。しかし6ヶ月を経過していてもNGとなるケースもある (Most banks require that you have been in Japan for 6 months. However, there are cases where the application is rejected even if 6 months have passed.)
